It's a study day which is designed to identify the Legislations, restrictions and policies  that are in place within Emergency Care,explain the different streams of clinical Care provided : Majors , minors , paediatrics, Resuscitation and others, list the Roles and responsibilities of Nurses within the Emergency Department, identify and discuss skills used within the emergency department: what is triage, ECGs, Vital signs, Oxygen therapy as a drug, cannulation, Venepuncture, Blood Gases (ABGs) prompt referrals, Neurological assessments , GCS interpretation, skills related to circulatory system  as well as other skills and the reasons for using them.
